Ok I take a break, I have been workin on his front arm for about 1h now. Still not very happy with it…:( I wish I took real drawing classes, coz the one we used to have in high school are just useless…I can’t even remember what I learnt. They just give you a subject and then you draw. It would have been better, if they actuallly tought you something useful, like drawing shadows. Now that into the design and concept stage of my project. I know how hard it is draw something that look good. I think my main problem is my sense of proportion ans masses. Coz when you try to be original and create something you. You still need it to be natural…You can’t just put foot where there should be ears. You have to respect somehow the natural anatomy of human and animal. Coz human eye, notice quickly if something is wrong. Damn If only I knew ealier what I want to do in life…well I am still not really decide, but I know that I want to work in 3D, maybe as a modeller or an animator. It will be awesome if one day you could see my name on the credits of a Blockbuster movie (even if I know people usually dont stay for that). If I could go back in time…after my high school diploma, I would enter a design school (1years), during that time I would teach myself 3D, write an amanzing script for a movie. Then I would fly to america and try to get into The Gnomon school or VFS. This would have avoid me spending $$$, for a 6 month of bursary school (equivalent to high school diploma in france) 6 month of Electrotechnology (I though it would be interesting…like making robots and stuff but I was all theory, reading paper ? No thx U) and 2 useless year at the 3D school I went. In fact the only thing this school gave me…is to meet new friends who r also into 3D. ahahah I just remember my first Life drawing session…I just stay in front of something and draw it. And for the 1st session we had to draw a nude woman !!!! Before the class I was like “oh oh nude nude !! lol” But you know…when you start drawing and you get into it, you don’t see a naked woman, but a model. I mean you don’t think any perverted things but you concentrate on how to draw the curve, the shadow and to get the right expression. Kkk, I admit that sometimes I watched “it” (it look angry) but it was in the name of art. All that to tell you that if you want to draw good humanoid or creature Learn your Anatomy, and not by “touching yourslef” (well in fact, it might help too But by looking at pictures, people and try to draw everyday
